Phone-Based Sales Representative (Part Time)
The primary responsibility of the Phone-Based Sales Representative is to provide a high level of customer service in converting new potential customers into active customers.
Additional duties include:
Key new customer data into systems, obtain information on the customer, and verify the source of the lead
Review client home ownership program with potential customers
Educate customers on different opportunities available to them through VPM
Verbal prequalification/verify if customer can afford the home with goal of having the customer view the home and schedule a follow-up call
Send application and assign customer to a closing coordinator
Handle customer follow-ups via phone and web (online interaction with “chat now” capabilities)
Return new customer prospect voicemails
Pre-application and incomplete application follow-ups with goal of completing customer application
Candidates must have Customer Service and/or Sales experience, preferably phone-based.
This is a part time position where candidates will be expected to work about 20 hours per week, depending on business needs. The work schedule for this position is subject to change from week to week, but candidates will be expected to work during lunch hours on four weekdays and every Saturday from 10AM until 4PM. If hired, candidates will be off Sunday and one weekday each week.
